“Your Eyes will be Open and You Shall Be As Gods”

What is human’s place in the world? Why do we so often engage with nature and with others from a place of domination? And what can we do about that? In this session we will explore the divine mandate for dominion, and how that is connected to the unique position of human beings on the planet. We will place these texts in dialogue with a case study from grantee partners at American Jewish World Service.
