Rav Shagar on Prayer and "Perhaps"

This class will explore the writings of Rabbi Shimon Gershon Rosenberg (1949–2007), known by the acronym Shag"ar, a leading Israeli thinker whose approach weaves together hasidut, mysticism, and modern and postmodern philosophy. We'll cover themes such as halakhah in a postmodern world, divine providence, and developing faith and ideology with self-awareness.
