Hadar Chicago: Clergy Learning Cohort

Date and Time
9:30 - 10:30 AM Central
Mar 8-May 17 2024

Chicagoland clergy are invited to study selections from the Talmud Tractate Sotah with Rabbi Goldie Guy, Director of Hadar Chicago. We will explore sections from chapters 7,8, and 9 of Masechet Sotah, which discuss the topics of Eglah Arufa, the Kohen who goes out to war, and issues of the language used for prayer and ritual.

Join us for some nourishing learning l'shma, which will have resonances with questions of daily life. Talmudic texts will be provided in the original, with access to translations.

All sessions will take place on Zoom, except for our final session on May 31, which will meet at Emma's Bagel Cafe.
