We’re excited to welcome you back to Hadar’s intergenerational learning program: Learning With Grandparents: Parashat Terumah. As times of isolation continue, we invite grandparents and grandchildren to bond over Torah and seek comfort in our spiritual tradition. Gather together as grandparents and grandchildren join us on Thursday, February 18 to connect, bond, and study the parashah of the week and connect over Parashat Terumah in havruta for a Torah study across generations.
Together, you and your family members will use Hadar’s resources to explore the week’s Torah portion through texts, guiding questions, and meaningful discussion. Most of the program will take place in breakout rooms, allowing optimal time for learning and connection.
This event is open to anyone ages 7+.
This program is the first in a series; by signing up, you are agreeing to receive information about subsequent Learning With Grandparents programs:
- March 18 (Pesah)
- April 29 (Vayikra)
- June 10 (Bemidbar)
- July (Dvarim) - Exact date TBD
- August 26 (Rosh Hashanah)
Only one person per havruta/learning group needs to register, so long as the contact information and email addresses of all members of the havruta/learning group are listed in the registration. This will enable all participants to receive the Zoom links, materials and reminders ahead of time.
